Beef Cattle

1. Judging to commence at 11:30am Saturday July 26th, 2008.
2. All animals must be owned by exhibitor and registration papers must be made available for checking before commencement of judging.
3. All exhibitors must show proof of lability insurance.
4. No limit on number of entries per class.
5. Calves shown as a unit with their dam are not eligible for 2008 calf classes.
6. An entry fee of $30 per farm must accompany entries.
7. All entries must be received by June 30th, 2008.
8. Barn space is limited. No animals will be allowed in the barns until after 6pm on Friday July 25, 2008.
9. No bedding provided.
10. All animals must have CCIA tags.
11. Any disputes that may arise shall be brought to director’s attention and the decisions made by directors are final.
12. Any breed with less than 15 head will be in ‘Any Other Breed’ unless decided by committee on day of show.
13. Exhibitors will receive two admission passes by mail upon confirmation of entries and entry fee.
14. All entries must be verified purebred as according to their breed.
15. All animals must remain on grounds until completion of show or prize money will be forfeited.

NEW for 2008!
Beachburg Fair “ Queen of the Ring”
Open to any purebred heifer born January 1 to April 30, 2008. Registration fee of $20 will be collected prior to beef show on Saturday, July 26, 2008. No limit on number of entries per breeding unit. A trophy will be presented to the winner as well as 50% of all monies collected, with 50% also going towards renovations to barns. “Queen of the Ring” will commence after the pee wee showmanship.

1st - $50, 2nd - $40, 3rd - $30,4th - $20, 5th - $10

Peewee Showmanship - Animal shown by boy or girl 10 years and under. 4-H member not eligible. Prizes to be announced on showday.

Queen of the Ring - Purebred heifer calves any breed born on or after January 1 - April 30, 2008

Class 3
Bull calf born on or after January 1, 2008 and on or before May 15, 2008.

Class 4
Bull born January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007.

Class 5
Bull born January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006.

Class 6
Grand Champion Bull and Reserve Champion Bull. Ribbon only.

Class 7
Female born on or after January 1, 2008 and on or before May 15, 2008.

Class 8
Female born April 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007.

Class 9
Female born January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2007.

Class 10
Female born 2006 with her own 2008 natural purebred tattooed calf at foot. Female and calf are to be shown as a unit, calf is not eligible to show as a single unit.

Class 11
Female born previous to 2006 with her own 2008 natural purebred tattooed calf at foot. Female and calf are to be shown as a unit, calf is not eligible to show as a single unit.

Class 12
Grand Champion Female and Reserve Champion Female. Ribbon only.
Please Note: For all Grand Champion classes 1st and 2nd place entries are asked to return.

Class 13
New for 2008! Get a Sire. A group of three animals bred by exhibitor from the same sire both sexes represented animals must have been exhibited in previous classes.

Class 14
Breeder herd. A group of 4 animals bred by exhibitor. Both sexes represented and must be exhibited in previous classes.

Class 15
New for 2008! Supreme Champion Breeders Herd.

Class 16
New for 2008! Relic Showmanship open to any showperson 30 years and older that would like to show the youngins how it is done! Prize to be announced on show day. Supreme Champion Male will be judged beginning at 6:30pm followed by Supreme Champion Female (Class 17 & 18).
